The Lukas guest house is located in Černý Důl, halfway between Špindleruv Mlýn and Pec pod Sněžkou, about 5 km from Janské Lázně. It is accessible by car even in winter, with free parking outside the guest house. If travelling by bus, get off at the Černý Důl-náměstí bus stop located 10 minutes away from the guest house. Regular skibus connection (from Hradec Králové and Prague) is available in winter, and cycle buses in summer.

Accomodation is provided with breakfast, with a choice of twin/double or family rooms with en-suite facilities and TV/SAT.  Free WiFi internet access. Also available in the attic is a newly constructed suite with a kitchen. Relax in our comfortable lounge with a fireplace and a kitchenette. Smoking is not allowed except in specially designated area outside and on the balconies. On-site ski rental with discounts for guests. Pets are allowed upon prior notification with surcharge. In summer, the garden provides a sitting area with a grill, a swimming pool, swings, a slide and a sandbox. A garage is available for motorcycles and bicycles.

Excellent downhill skiing! Ski lifts in walking distance or accessible by skibus. SKIRESORT ČERNÁ HORA – new ski area of Černý Důl + Janské Lázně + Svoboda nad Úpou = 4 cablecars/chair lifts, 22 ski lifts, 20 km of slopes on an integrated ski pass! The areas are linked by skibuses. Skibus stop 20 m from the guesthouse. Restaurants, swimming pool, sauna, massage parlor, beauty salon – all within reach. Ideal summertime location for mountain walks and cycling. Also, several less demanding routes located in the area for children and less fit tourists.
