Rychnov nad Kněžnou (Czech pronunciation: [ˈrɪxnof ˈnat kɲɛʒnou̯]; German: Reichenau an der Knieschna) is a town in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. This is a small town, with a sprinkling of other small towns in the vicinity. The nearest big city (more than 100,000 inhabitants) is Hradec Králové which is about 32 km to the west. Madeleine Albright (former US Foreign Secretary) hailed from this part of the world.
