Hotel Stary Mlyn is situated in the quiet atmosphere of the upper part of the mountain village Rokytnice nad Jizerou. Even in winter the hotel is easily accessible by snow cleared streets and there´s a car park right next to the hotel, in winter guarded for a fee. The hotel is the starting point of a sign-posted walk to the mountain restaurant Dvoracky and the Hutsky waterfall. There are five ski lifts of 400 till 800 metres just 100m across the road from the hotel.These are suitable for children, beginners and more experienced skiers. These are sometimes floodlit for nighttime skiing. The main ski area Horní Domky, has 10 km of piste a T-bar and poma lifts and there is a modern skilift to Lysá Hora (1343 m), which is very good for professionals. The hotel has twin rooms but 1, 3 and 4 person rooms are also available and all have a suite shower rooms with Sat. TV. All our rooms have an internet connection with technologie ADSL 1024/256, it means each guest can use internet for his own notebook free. We can accomodate up to 65 people. Our hotel has a 60 seater dinningroom which specializes in the typical Czech cuisine. The restaurant-bar has about 50 seats and has sat. TV, video and audio equipment. There is a lounge bar and this room is large enough to be used for corporate events and presentations. New offer is an internet cafe for a fee with ADSL 1024/256. The spacious garden with its huge Douglas fire is wonderfull for a barbecue or an open campfire. To make their stay even more enjoyable there is a sauna, massage - reiki therapie, a table tennis, billiard and darts. We also have mountain bikes and skiingequipment for hire.
